Hidden Cape Cod

We all know the most recognizable places on Cape Cod, but there are still a few hidden gems to take note of. Sometimes they are hidden little places right in front of our noses.

You may have dinned at the Marshside with friends, parents, and grandparents. (This is Nana’s FAVORITE restaurant on the Cape, and she is a picky eater). Although the restaurant itself is well known and often busy, many don’t take a moment to breathe in the scenery. The Marshside, located in East Dennis, MA, overlooks scenic Sesuit creek.

Sesuit is the perfect place to sit while you are waiting for your table. Not only will you take in the fantastic views of the marsh, but you will also see wildlife like herons. Herons are not the only species to inhabit salt marshes. Thousands of species make their homes in these overlooked ecosystems, some of the most productive in the world.

As lines and wait times are something we should expect to be longer this summer, we will all need to find moments in the wait to enjoy. So take your instagramable sunset pic, a fun family photo, or sit, breath, and enjoy.
