Cape Cod Chokers has teamed up with CCLCS, and WE CAN!!
100% goes to WE CAN to support local women on the Cape! Students from grade 6th - 8th learn about self-branding or personal branding. A form of marketing that an individual uses to create a uniform public image that demonstrates their values and overall reputation. This branding form is a growing trend not only among celebrities but also among micro-influencers, we see on social media platforms like Instagram and snap chat.
Girl Boss- AMBITION BEGINS HERE. In this seminar, these girls will investigate a new reality where women are making progress personally, professionally, and in the service of others. Their origin story will become their biggest asset. These young entrepreneurs will develop a story that tells the world who they are, what they believe in, and where they are going!
Students explore and investigate a vision for themselves and for what they want to represent in our community. This vision will be firmly rooted in their values, creativity, and artistic view of the world.
UPDATE: Not only did they learn how to create a piece of jewelry, design a logo/sticker, and learn how to photograph their product... but they also developed a story that tells the world who they are, what they believe in, and where they are going!. They are excited about what they have accomplished and decided where the proceeds would go. After some research, they decided “WE CAN” would be a perfect fit!
All proceeds will be directly donated to WE CAN!! Learn more about WE CAN below or visit: https://www.wecancenter.org/
WE CAN focuses on providing positive change to women from all over the Cape. Through support and unique services, WE CAN is able to bring assistance to women going through challenges in their lives. WE CAN not only helps these women on a personal level, but the support also effects their families and in turn the community itself. By mentoring, educating and supporting women, WE CAN can bring new opportunities and stability to the women within the Cape Cod community.
