Healthcare Heros: Operation Feel Pretty
Share
Single pearl and leather necklaces were gifted to hardworking female healthcare workers at Cape Cod Hospital’s ICU. An initiative proposed by Maggie Weinstock. Due to guidance on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fear of contamination, nurses had to take off all their jewelry. However, Maggie realized Cape Cod Chokers’ leather jewelry could be wiped down clean. In a time when nurses are currently figuring out how to save a life or perhaps waking up to get ready for another long shift, sometimes something small can make a difference in how we feel.
“We received lovely gifts from Cape Cod Chokers! Everyone just loved them! Most of us have taken all of our jewelry off because of having to wear PPE and/or fear of contaminating our jewelry. These necklaces make us feel extra pretty under all of the masks, caps, gowns and gloves. 🥰💕
Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness!
